Community Vision and Ideas
Vision
People of all ages feel connected, welcomed, supported and at home in Tal-y-bont. Spurred on by its strong social fabric and people-centred outlook, improved community facilities now offer a broader range of activities, from live music and cultural events to social gatherings, alongside a renewed focus on local heritage. Its streets are safer and more walkable, with parking easier for all. Environmental improvements bring visual cohesion and create focal points across the village, while river restoration, better water quality and flood mitigation have strengthened environmental resilience through a coordinated multi-agency response.
