Develop an arrival management and parking strategy that understands different user types, structures provision for residents, businesses, and visitors, and considers the role of rail links from Aberystwyth, Borth, and Machynlleth.

Develop design proposals to make High Street more people-friendly for activity, active travel, and wellbeing, with improved footways, greenery, public space, links to side streets and venues, and 20mph repeater signs.

Explore a wider community transport scheme with neighbouring communities that also supports deliveries and basic services, alongside a community e-bike scheme.

Improve underused pockets of land, including areas behind the toilet block and within High Street, so they have a clear purpose and contribute positively to community life.

Promote and sign local circular walking routes from the beach to the countryside, linking natural, historical, and cultural attractions, with interpretation and audio trail stories.

Develop a building improvement design code to support homeowners with appropriate palettes, materials, windows, roofing, and other features.

Contribute to the Borth to Ynyshir Coastal Adaptation Project by addressing local drains and ditches, invasive species, river clearance around the Afon Leri, protection of Cors Fochno, and localised flooding near the golf course.

Build on Borth’s visible public art scene by extending community art to animate spaces, buildings, and underused assets, and support waymarking and event space.

Maintain and improve seating, bins, bus shelters, and accessibility across the village, and develop a local design code for street furniture and signage that fits Borth’s character.

Enhance key approaches and road corridors, such as the approach from Glanwern by the convenience store, through localised planting and volunteering.

Assess lighting luminaires and the use of cut-off shields to meet dark sky standards.

Celebrate Borth’s coastal heritage through a local design code and interpretation focused on key Victorian and maritime buildings and stories.

Build on existing and new events and activities by developing a shared calendar and coordinating resources, marketing, and promotion, including engagement with young people and new residents.

Develop community learning activities that help people learn Welsh through history, nature, and food, including walking groups, tidy ups, art workshops, cookery classes, and local talks.

Develop the community council website to celebrate life in Borth, the role of the community council, local events, and other local information.

Work with the local education authority to support the long-term sustainability of the primary school, including exploring the feasibility of a Cylch Meithrin to provide Welsh-medium play and learning from birth to school age.

Connect and support community hubs and venues so they signpost to one another, sustain grassroots services that support wellbeing, and receive small capital investment where needed.

Maintain and manage the public toilets owned by Ceredigion County Council, and explore sustainability measures such as rainwater harvesting and rooftop solar PV.

Assess the condition and internal layout of the community hall and prepare an options appraisal and development plan for the hall, its immediate setting, tennis courts, and wider activities such as a MUGA.

Promote community space for wellbeing, including raising awareness of allotment and growing space among residents and community groups.

Deliver rural housing on the allocated site that meets local needs and integrates physically and socially into the local community.

Support the TfW Station Adopters in managing the Grade II train station and Borth Railway Museum as a local and visitor hub, linked to active travel, visitor information, and signage to local attractions.

Trial new activities on the beach and promenade to diversify use, extend visitor stays, and create memorable experiences, including options such as a community sauna, outdoor gallery, camper van aire, and coffee wagons.

Develop an integrated destination management plan for Borth that brings together attractions, activities, and stories under a unifying brand, shared messages, products, and experiences.

Develop a support package for visitor-facing businesses focused on infrastructure, innovation, diversification, and product development.
